Copaiba. It’s High Time To Talk About It.

There has been much discussion and controversy, to whether or not marijuana (the whole, unprocessed marijuana plant or its extracts) should be made legal for medicinal purposes, then here comes Copaiba!  Because marijuana contains chemicals that may help treat a range of illnesses and symptoms, it is sought after with hopes for relief of many ailments.

Well, you CAN start using it, with no controversy, no breaking the law, and no side effects. Because you can use Copaiba oil.

Copaiba Oil is perfectly legal, and effective, because it contains the cannabinoid BCP. Cannabinoids work by affecting the endocannabinoid system receptors which are found throughout the body: in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells, and literally form a bridge between body and mind. There are three types of cannabinoids: THC, CBD, and BCP. BCP (beta-caryophyllene) is the main ingredient in Copaiba Oil and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain killing) properties.

What is Copaiba?

Copaiba is a gum resin that is tapped, much like maple syrup, from Brazil’s copaiba tree. After being collected, it is steam distilled to create the oil.As mentioned, Copaiba BCP is the main component found in the oil. In fact, Copaiba oil contains 55% beta-caryophyllene, which works directly with the endocannabinoid system by specifically targeting the cannabinoid receptors that aid in the reduction of inflammation and pain. The other two main compounds in copaiba are copaene and humulene. Humulene is known for its disinfectant abilities in wound healing, and copaene is known forits antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti microorganism properties. This powerful combination of chemical compounds in copaiba oil is what makes it so versatile.
