What are enzymes and why do I need them?

Enzymes are proteins that perform tasks to help every organ and function of your body. As we age, our body produces less and less. Nothing works without enzymes. Vitamins won’t be absorbed without enzymes. Illness is often a sign of a particular enzyme deficiency.

Can I help my own body's production of enzymes?

Yes, by eating fresh, raw and unprocessed, uncooked, unpasteurized food, and by “chewing your food until it’s liquid and then chew it some more.”

Do I need to take enzymes for life?

Maybe, maybe not. If you have a chronic issue like cancer, fibromyalgia, diabetes, etc., you may need continuous support. Everyone is different!

How much does it cost?

$649 – $3,500

Nurse For Health has several testing options from which you can choose. From a basic testing package (which includes testing and 6-8 weeks of consultation and therapy) starting at $649, to more advanced testing packagings that would add cost. Cost is dependent on the type of program you need. Chronic conditions usually warrant more testing and follow ups, and thus may cost more. As each patient and treatment plan is different, each cost is different well.

Do you have a payment plan?

Unfortunately we are not able to do payment plans at this time.

Am I able to use my health savings account (HSA) to pay for services and products?

Yes. However it may depend on your health savings account allowances for care. We have never run into any problems but please verify with your insurance provider just to be sure. We also take credit/debit cards.

“I cannot say enough good about Suzan at Nurse for Health. I have struggled with acid reflux and digestive issues for years. I started seeing Suzan in January and she started me on a couple enzymes. The difference was night and day. My acid reflux is gone and I am no longer vomiting. It is such a huge change.” –E.S.
